Michael Bay Reveals ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Teaser Is Coming

It’s been a few years since Transformers: Age of Extinction. With the next Transformers film set for release next year and a Bumblebee movie having been confirmed, the world of the alien machines who can change into anything just keeps growing.

Director Michael Bay, who has directed all of the Transformers films thus far, has recently confirmed that we’ll be seeing the first teaser for Transformers: The Last Knight next month.

“I’m Michael Bay, I’m at the IMAX theater right now. I want to tell you because I’ve been reading your comments… The teaser is coming December 16th on Star Wars.”

You can watch the brief video here!

So this means that the teaser trailer for the film will be debuting with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Bay doesn’t say what he was doing at the IMAX theater, but if the film’s logo behind him says anything, he may have been screening the film, or some of the film, for certain audience members.

Transformers: The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg, who’s character made his debut in Age of Extinctiontaking over from Shia LaBeouf, Anthony Hopkins, Stanley Tucci, Laura Haddock, John Goodman, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Ken Watanabe, and John DiMaggio.

The film will be in theaters June 23, 2017.
