Michael Sheen In Talks To Join Vin Diesel’s ‘Bloodshot’ Movie

Michael Sheen Sony Vin Diesel BloodshotVariety reports Michael Sheen is in talks to join the cast of Sony’s Bloodshot film starring Vin Diesel.

In addition, Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) and Sam Heughan (Outlander) are also in talks to join the project according to the trade. Character details remain under wraps.

Bloodshot follows protagonist Angelo Mortalli, a ruthless hired gun for the mob who is set up and framed for a murder by the family. Mortalli goes into witness protection but is ultimately betrayed by the FBI forced into an experimental program where he is injected with nanites that erase his brain and rebuild his body to be a weapon with superhuman strength and healing powers.

Dave Wilson is set to direct the project with Neil Moritz producing alongside Toby Jaffe through the Original Films banner and by Valiant’s Dinesh Shamdasani with Matthew Vaughn and Jason Kothari serving as exec producers.

Bloodshot will be the second film in a five-picture deal Sony has with Valiant and DMG. The first being Harbinger which is being written by Justin Tipping and Joshua Beirne-Golden. The plan is for each movie to get a sequel before the characters cross over in Harbinger Wars.

Batman Villains DC ComicsBatman’s been on the big screen a handful of times, but he still has so many enemies who’ve never been in a movie. I love the Joker, but man-oh-man am I tired of seeing him. Batman’s got one of the most impressive, deep rogue galleries in all of comics, and I think it’s time more of them were given the love they deserve!
