More Rumors Emerge Regarding A Major Female Villain Debuting In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

There’s been rumors floating around recently about the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok and the possibility of the film featuring a major female villain. The latest rumor regarding this has come from the website Lainey Gossip, who are claiming that they “have heard that Marvel is also planning on bringing their first major female villain into their cinematic universe” (I guess we aren’t counting Nebula from Guardians Of The Galaxy?) but that they don’t “know who the character is for sure”. Being that numerous outlets have reported rumors along these lines, I’d say there’s likely some form of truth behind them.

The site then goes on to add that Marvel Studios is looking for some A-list talent for the role. There are a few roles that this could be, which would include Hela The Queen Of The Dead, but the most likely candidate? Amora aka The Enchantress. The character has been long rumored to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with her sister Lorelei popping up in the first season of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., and seems like a character that Marvel has been holding on to for something big. Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments below.
