New Character Posters For ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6; Andrew Lincoln Discusses Finale

In case you forgot, AMC’s The Walking Dead finally returns from its annual Winter hiatus this Sunday, so Entertainment Weekly have released a batch of new characters posters for the hit series, featuring Andrew Lincoln’s Rick, Norman Reedus’ Daryl, Steven Yeun’s Glenn, Danai Gurira’s Michonne, Melissa McBride’s Carol and Lauren Cohan’s Maggie. You can check them out below.

Additionally, the magazine also had a chance to speak with Andrew Lincoln, who discussed reading the script of the season 6 finale, which will introduce us to Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan, an iconic antagonist from Robert Kirkman’s comic books. However, if you’ve been reading the series, youprobably already know that his introduction will shake things up for our heroes in a major way and judging from Lincoln’s comments, it sounds like the TV series will go on the same route as the source material:

I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script. It was the first day in the whole six years of working on The Walking Dead that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it.

What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing Negan in The Walking Dead? Sound-off your thoughts in the comment section.
