The latest issue of Empire Magazine has revealed a brand new look at Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian behind the cockpit controls of the Millennium Falcon in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The second-ever Star Wars spin-off stars Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo as the smuggler proves himself as a criminal, meets Chewbacca, and also acquires the Millennium Falcon, which is owned by Lando Calrissian in the film. The version of the Correllian freighter seen in Solo looks drastically different and appears much, much cleaner than it does in both the original and sequel trilogy. The ship itself which has been described as Lando’s pride and joy has been modified and restored to suit the discerning tastes of the future administrator of Cloud City.

5 Things To Look Forward To In ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit theaters later this year and will certainly be a departure for the franchise. Similar to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo is going to be a prequel on the adventures of the smuggler originally played by Harrison Ford. Han Solo is one of the most memorable and iconic characters in the franchise whose origins we have yet to see fleshed out beyond knowing he is a smuggler. There’s a lot of fascinating potential here.
This is a film that seemingly isn’t that important for the franchise, but it easily could be. It could do a lot of things for the Star Wars canon and there is a lot to look forward to in this one. While it’s not inherently the most anticipated film in the franchise there are still a lot of things that will be exciting to see unfold on the big screen.
