There are only 28 days until Justice League opens in theaters everywhere. The highly anticipated film will mark the first time DC Comics’ greatest heroes will appear together as a team and the arrival of Steppenwolf will serve as the catalyst for this event. We’ll also finally learn the answers to burning questions such as who is Alfred (Jeremy Irons) talking to in the third trailer and how does Superman (Henry Cavill) make his return? And of course which VFX house will be credited with digitally removing Cavill’s mustache. In the meantime, this new promotional banner has turned up on Reddit featuring all of the team, including Superman.
By clicking on one of the links in the post’s comments section, it seems that the full banner is actually an ad for purchasing tickets in Bangkok, Thailand. Check it out below!
As excited as I am for the film, I find this banner somewhat lame. It’s clearly photoshopped as Superman’s pose is one that we have seen many times before. And as terrific as I think Jason Mamoa has been in the trailers, I can’t help but look at his pose here and think he’s about to do a guitar riff on stage and say, “Thank you, we love you (INSERT CITY)!” What do you think? If you lived in Thailand, does this get you pumped for the film? Sound off in the comments box below.
The superhero epic features a cast that includes Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Henry Cavill as Kal-El/Clark Kent (Superman), Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa as Orin/Arthur Curry (Aquaman), Ezra Miller as Barry Allen (The Flash), Ray Fisher as Victor Stone (Cyborg), Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, J. K. Simmons as Commissioner James ‘Jim’ Gordon, Joe Morton as Dr. Silas Stone and Amber Heard as Mera. Julian Lewis Jones and Michael McElhatton are also in the movie in unspecified roles.
Justice League opens on November 17, 2017.
