In a little over a month, we will say goodbye to Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Since 2000, Jackman has become an icon of the superhero genre; it is tough to say if it will ever be the same without him. Ahead of James Mangold’s second Wolverine flick, Logan, hitting theatres everywhere on March 3rd, Jackman himself has dropped a brand new poster for the film. Inspired by Mark Millar’s Old Man Logan, the (similarly) titled film will detail an old Wolverine who has lost everything. Living with an ageing Professor Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart, Logan will meet a girl, X-23, who is on the run from a secret agency. The new image shows a close up of Logan’s old, weary face and the gorgeous (and deadly) claws. In case you needed final assurance that the movie has received that glorious R-rating, you can see it in big, bold lettering just below the release date.
You can check out the badass poster below:

So, what do you guys think? Are you excited for the final Wolverine movie? Are you ready to say goodbye to Hugh Jackman’s Logan? Do not get too emotional, we still have a month to mentally prepare ourselves for those closing credits. It has been quite a journey for the character, and the actor. You can check out Logan when it arrives in theatres on March 3rd, March 2nd if you are a lucky chum who lives in Australia, like myself.
