New Images Released From ‘Legends’ Season One Finale

The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow will be concluding its first season next week and brand new images have been released that showcase another intense and possibly final showdown with Vandal Savage.

It has been rumored that what happens in Legends will be impacted by what has taken place this season on Arrow. For those who are not caught up on Arrow, the following is a major spoiler. In the season one finale of , Sara will learn about Laurel’s death and audiences will be able to experience her reaction. The finale is also said to be setting up a major DC Comics hero that will become a major part in season two.

That mystery role could be surrounding Patrick J. Adams (Suits), who was cast to play a surprise DC character. Adams is currently signed on to be in the season finale, titled “Legendary” and the second season premiere.

A source close to the show said that Adams will be playing a character that fans will really love. This character also has the chance to appear in more episodes.

Legends of Tomorrow has already been renewed for a second season on The CW, along with Arrow and The FlashDC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

THE FINAL BATTLE – After the numerous sacrifices the team has made since the beginning of this ride, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides that it’s time they each decide their own destiny and returns them to Central City a few months after they first left. Returned to their normal lives, each team member must individually decide if they are willing to sacrifice everything in order to save the world. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) visits with her father (guest star Paul Blackthorne) who delivers some heartbreaking news about her sister. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Chris Fedak and teleplay by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim (#116).
