More Rogue One stuff! It seems like we have been getting a lot more bits and pieces about the film lately due to the film’s imminent release. The more we know, the cooler it looks, so I’m not complaining. Today we have gotten access to a new featurette detailing various aspects of the new Star Wars film.

Director Gareth Edwards speaks a little on the base concept of the film and where it came from. Its obvious he grew up a fan of the franchise because he keeps mentioning how much of a dream it is to shoot this. He isn’t the only one in awe of working on the Star Wars prequel, though.

Stars Felicity Jones and Diego Luna weigh in on what it means to be involved in the project as well. Seems like everyone involved had a pretty good time making the film, which we can only hope translates onto the screen. We’ll know soon enough!

Check it out below:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Diego Luna as Captain Cassian Andor, Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso, Alan Tudyk as K-2SO, Jiang Wen as Baze Malbus, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 16th.
