Today is officially one week away from the season two premiere of CW’s The Flash, with season four of Arrow premiering the following day. The network released two new trailers that went along with the season one finale of the DC show Vixen on the CW Seed. In addition, CW also released a behind the scenes trailer for The Flash that reveals a major reveal that many fans have been speculating for a certain character in the CW/DC universe.
The Arrow trailer focuses more on Team Arrow consisting of the Green Arrow, Black Canary, Felicity Smoak, Speedy and Diggle. We also get new shots of the new big bad, Damien Darhk.
The first spot for The Flash focuses heavily on Teddy Sears’ Jay Garrick who is The Flash of Earth 2 and in addition to that, we get a much closer look at the big bad Zoom. While it will be kept a big secret for a good while on who is under the mask, it has been announced that Candyman actor Tony Todd will be voicing Zoom.
Last, but not the least, the “One Week” BTS reveals what many have speculated before which is that Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (premiering in mid-season of 2016), is in fact going to be a new Firestorm. However, with Earth 2 and Multiverses coming into play this season, it may be too early to say whether this means that Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) will be facing an unfortunate faith this season.
The Flash begins its second season on Tuesday October 6, 8/7c on The CW, with Arrow kicking off season four the following night.
