X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on May 27 and while fans continue to wait, a new clip has been released showing off what is likely to be a highlight of the film, Magneto played by Michael Fassbender.

In the newly released clip, Magneto enters into a factory and explains to the employees that some of them might have tried to explain what they have seen to the police but they truly don’t understand his powers.

“Think of the person you loved most in your life, now that person will learn what it is like to loose someone they love. My name isn’t Henryk…my name is Magneto.”

The clip is filled with emotion, tension and a great reminder that Michael Fassbender is one of the most important players within the X-Men universe.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
