‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Will Feature An Even More Powerful Magneto; New Concept Art Released

Entertainment Weekly has unveiled a new piece of concept art from the highly anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse, featuring Michael Fassbender’s Magneto demonstrating his upgraded powers. Speaking to the magazine, director Bryan Singer explains the perks of joining the titular villain’s cause, as well as Magneto’s massive power upgrade, which should shake things up for Charles and the rest of the good guys. Here’s what he had to say, along with the artwork:

One of Apocalypse’s many powers is he can imbue other mutants with greater ones, Magneto is demonstrating a small taste of what he can do now. Magneto is already enormously powerful…. Now Apocalypse gives him powers far beyond what we’ve seen before.
