Nick Blood To Return As Lance Hunter In ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Agents Shield Nick Blood Lance Hunter
Entertainment Weekly reports that Nick Blood will return as Lance Hunter in the fifth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Blood will return to the series for the first time since Lance Hunter and ex-wife Bobbi Morse were both disavowed by S.H.I.E.L.D. in a move designed to set up both characters for their own spin-off series titled Marvel’s Most Wanted, which was later passed on by ABC. Details on why Hunter will return and how long he will remain on the series are currently unknown, although EW also unveiled a new image of Blood on set.

10 Possible Things To Look Forward To In ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season 5

Agents of SHIELD

This week marked the season finale of the fourth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Suffice to say, this has been a stellar season for the show. Probably one of Marvel’s best seasons on television (depending on how you feel about Legion). Season 4 gave us 3 distinct story arcs: Ghost Rider, LMD, and Agents of Hydra, and all of them were perfect. There was the right amount of drama, actions, story, and intrigue that held us over from week to week. Despite having a later timeslot this season, the ratings (thanks to loyal fans) held strong and the show was renewed for a 5th season in the 2017-2018 season for ABC. Even though the show is now in the “Friday Night Death Slot,” ABC President Channing Dungey is not worried as he feels the show has a strong enough fanbase to still do a great job, which it why Inhumans and Once Upon a Time will also share Friday nights with them.

As stated before, the season finale was an exceptional close to an explosive season. You can check out our review of the episode as well as our pointing out of all the MCU Easter Eggs for that episode. As the season finale ended with a great cliffhanger, there are so many places for the 5th season to go. Here are a few things in the upcoming season to look forward to. Click Next to take a look…
