By now, it’s highly likely that you’ve seen some of Olivia Munn’s behind the scenes videos showcasing her training for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. The actress had previously revealed that she performed all of her own stunts in the film and while speaking with Entertainment Tonight commented on the reasoning behind that decision.
“That was me from the beginning to the end. That was a really cool thing to feel like when I showed up on set I was like, “Oh wait, I can do this! Throw me onto a wire, give me a sword – I’m good!'”
Munn was initially offered a stunt double for the film but declined in order to make things more “believable” for the audience.
“Psylocke is such a powerful, lethal character. It was important to me that I was able to do all of the stunts because the more believable it is, the better it is for the audience — and the only way to make it believable is for me to actually do it.”
It does appear that Munn has commited to the role and looks to deliver for the fans. We’ll find out how the aboved when X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters in a few months. Let us know what you think about Munn’s comments in the section below.
