Justice League Aquaman Jason Momoa James WanWith 2018 just around the corner comes a whole new slew of superhero films to look forward to. Next year’s major new entry in the DC Extended Universe, Aquaman, has a lot of hype surrounding it and one cast member thinks fans will be in for a treat.

Actor Patrick Wilson, who plays Orm the Ocean Master in the film, took a few questions from fans on Twitter yesterday and gave a few details on what we can expect from his character:

“He’s complicated. And awesome. I just want to do him justice.”

Wilson also mentioned filming the underwater scenes and how much of a challenge it was:

“It was awesome and exhausting and worth every second of pain. Can’t wait to show you guys. Actually, I can’t wait for [director James Wan] to show ME.”

Veteran actor Dolph Lundgren will be playing King Nereus and Wilson had nothing but praise for the man:

“True gent. We ate many meals together…”

Wilson worked previously with Justice League director Zack Snyder in Watchmen, and he said that experience was very different than working on the Snyder-inspired Aquaman:

“Everything was different. Especially the costumes.”

Ben Affleck Batman DC Extended UniverseThere are many questions that need answering in this world, a few being: How are we going to stop climate change? Will Donald Trump reveal his tax information? Did Chewie season the porgs he roasted in Star Wars: Last Jedi? But no, here we are asking Ben Affleck if he’s gonna continue to play Batman for the umpteenth time.

So far, Affleck has been coy with the answers he’s given us. With an assortment of responses to choose from, this time it appears that he needs to evaluate it on a case-by-case basis. During a recent interview, Affleck had exactly this to say when he was asked if he’d return to play Batman.

“For me, it’s interesting, and I always evaluate this stuff on the merit of the material. I want to direct a “Batman” movie, and I never got a script that I was happy with, so they are starting over and writing another script. And right now, I think a lot of different possibilities I think for the way the DC Universe could go, and I will just follow my interests in pursing that. And I know that I love working with this group of people, and it was a real joy for me to make this movie.”

Given the undecidedness in his response and with Affleck once again making headlines on whether he’ll play Batman again, we decided to list the reasons he should continue playing the character, as well as the reasons he shouldn’t. Click Next to get started!
