PlayStation Store has used the imminent release of Batman Ninja as a way to promote their digital service, and they partnered with DC in order to reveal the first two minutes of the action-packed, positively bonkers reinterpretation of the iconic superhero:

Considering that Gorilla Grodd isn’t traditionally a Batman villain, it’s interesting to see how he’ll factor into this story. It’s only fitting that a giant ape is the one to end up kicking off such a crazy story.

Its cast includes Roger Craig Smith as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Tony Hale as The Joker, Grey Griffin as Selena Kyle (Catwoman), Tara Strong as Harleen Quinzel (Harley Quinn) and Pamela Lillian Isley (Poison Ivy), Adam Croasdell as Alfred Pennyworth and Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Fred Tatasciore as Gorilla Grodd and Slade Wilson (Deathstroke), Yuri Lowenthal as Damien Wayne (Robin), Will Friedle as Jason Todd (Red Hood) and Tim Drake (Red Robin), Eric Bauza as Harvey Dent (Two-Face), and Tom Kenny as Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot (The Penguin).

DeathstrokeNow that fans know Deathstroke will be getting his own movie directed by The Raid’s Gareth Evans, it’s time for everyone to brush up on their Slade Wilson knowledge. Deathstroke is DC’s deadliest assassin and one of the smartest tacticians in the world, as well as the oldest foe of the Teen Titans. The movie will likely depict him as an anti-hero of sorts, a relatively new status for the character. Throughout most of his history Deathstroke has always been more of a self-interested fighter than a righteous man, but recently he’s developed a conscious and a desire to help people in DC Rebirth. He was even one of the main villains in the Batman: Arkham Origins game, proving that audiences are ready for more Slade Wilson.
