The cast of Shane Black’s Predator movie continues to grow, this time with the addition of Key and Peele and Keanu star Keegan-Michael Key, according to THR.
The actor’s casting comes one day after the addition of Moonlight standout Trevante Rhodes, who will be playing an ex-marine alongside the film’s star, Boyd Holbrook. Per THR, Key will portray a character who “teams up with Holbrook and Rhodes to fight the creatures.” Olivia Munn will also star as a scientist.
As previously reported, the project will be sequel to the 1987 John McTiernan-directed film and set in present day. There’s been no official word on whether or not Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as Dutch, but the actor has mentioned that he was planning to have lunch with Black to discuss the possibility of returning.
Production on The Predator is set to begin next month for a February 9, 2018 release.
