The stuntmen and women are often the unsung heroes of a film. For most of the film, anytime the character is in some sort of peril or turmoil, it is often a nameless face who is putting their body through agony for the sake of entertaining you, the audience. Very often the stunt person doesn’t get any recognition or credit for their hard efforts contributing to the films they participate in. As Guardians of the Galaxy finishes production, actor Chris Pratt, Star-Lord himself took out the time to give his stuntman Tony McFarr a special shout out on social media. McFarr worked with Pratt as his double on Jurassic World and also has worked in The Hunger Games films, Furious 7, and Captain America: Civil War as a stuntman.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 recently has wrapped up principal filming and director James Gunn is also expected to showcase new footage as this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 will be in theaters May 5, 2017.
