Rachel McAdams Talks ‘Doctor Strange’; Says It Will Be Unlike Any Of The Other Marvel Films

Production is currently underway Marvel’s Doctor Strange and we recently got confirmation that actress Rachel McAdams had joined the film’s cast. We’ve yet to get confirmation regarding her role in the Scott Derrickson film, but it’s currently rumored that she will be playing Christine Palmer aka Night Nurse. While speaking with MTV at the Gotham Awards last night, McAdams briefly commented on the upcoming Marvel Studios film and revealed that one of the main factors for her deciding to sign on was Derrickson’s vision for the project.

I mean, I just love the director. I met with Scott [Derrickson] and loved his vision, he was so passionate. And the opportunity to work with Benedict was kind of a no-brainer. And Marvel makes amazing films, so it was a complete package.

The actress then went on to state that Doctor Strange is “definitely” going to be unlike any of the other Marvel films that came before it.  Let us know your thoughts on McAdams comments in the section below. Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2016.
