Sylvester Stallone Teases ‘Rambo 5’ Is On The Way

Rambo 5 Sylvester StalloneFans have been eager for Sylvester Stallone to reprise his role as John Rambo in the highly-anticipated Rambo 5. Although nothing has been made official in regards to the project’s development, Stallone has hinted that the character’s return is on the way.

Stallone took to his official Instagram account to assure fans that Rambo 5 is indeed coming:

Stallone has played the beloved character in four other films: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo III and Rambo… Certainly one of the oddest collection of titles in any series of films.

Sylvester Stallone will next appear in Creed II. Here is the synopsis:

Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr., Creed II stars Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Russell Hornsby, Florian “Big Nasty” Munteanu, Andre Ward, Phylicia Rashad, and Dolph Lundgren. Stallone also penned the script and Creed director Ryan Coogler served as an executive producer.

Creed II will be released in theaters on November 21, 2018.
