Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment kicked-off the worldwide press tour of Justice League in China and to accompany the event, a selection of fans were able to see an early screening of thirty minutes of footage from the superhero epic. Now, reactions from some of the lucky attendees have surfaced online and their assessment of the footage has been largely positive.
Twitter user “Fiona is all in” commented on the audience’s reaction to the footage, writing that “all the people in the theater went crazy.” The same user provided a translation from a Chinese media account of the screening reading:
“Absolutely the most mature work of the DCEU…so far. In this film, they explored the deepest possibility of this cinematic universe.”
Although Superman was not featured in the footage, the same account wrote that his presence is certainly felt:
“We don’t get to see [Superman] in the footage, but his spirit [is] inspiring others through the whole thing.”
Twitter user Winter Wonderland praised the cinematography and score before expressing particular enthusiasm for Ezra Miller’s Flash and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. The same user added:
“30 minutes of JusticeLeague were 30 minutes of a mostly well executed plan. I can still very much feel Zack Snyder work…”
