Marvel Netflix The Punisher Jon BernthalOne of the greatest things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that it is branching and ever-expanding. There are several movies, shows and other mediums that have expanded upon its huge narrative. The television endeavors have been really successful in showcasing characters and heroes that may not appear in the MCU feature films. These series allow for other great Marvel heroes to flourish and no other character fits the mold better than Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher.

Castle is more commonly known as The Punisher and the series based on this iconic anti-hero is coming later this year. This is certainly an exciting time to be a Punisher fan. Why do you guys insist on creating lists that we must click through? If it’s a “20 reasons why…” then we have to click through 20 or 21 pages. That’s on top of scrolling though 13 ads on one page (by my count). I follow this site because I was/am a fan of Umberto and his work at Latino Review. But these click-bait lists that are continuously posted make me hesitant to continue coming to this site. Or if I do, it makes me want to turn on an Ad-Blocker. Please don’t make me do either and treat your readers with a bit more respect. If you wonder why there’s generally NO comments made on your articles (Heroic Hollywood, not yours specifically), when most other sites don’t have this problem, this could be one of the reasons. I know you’re still a relatively new site and you’re trying to pay bills, but work with your readers a bit more and they might work with you. I would love to know why you here at HH are excited for the Punisher, but I won’t be finding out if I have to click through 6 total pages smeared in ads.

I agree. I realise this is all about impressions and ads and you guys need to monetise your site but yes it’s annoying. I read The Wrap everyday and when they do lists like this they offer both a single page view or a gallery multi page view. Occasionally too I’ll click on an ad to support sites like this….

    • because advertisers are a pay per click they see the clicks on your page, that’s wehre the money comes from, it’s all SEO
