Rhett Reese Announces ‘Deadpool 2’ Has Wrapped

Deadpool 2 Ryan Reynolds Statement TragedyWriter of Deadpool 2 Rhett Reese has taken to Twitter today to announce the wrap on the sequel.

The much-anticipated sequel will bring back all of the fan-favorite characters from the first film and will feature Ryan Reynold’s “Merc With A Mouth” up alongside Josh Brolin’s Cable. The film had been shooting since the end of June in Vancouver, Canada. Now we wait for the release next summer.

Having been dubbed by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld as “comic book’s equivalent to Rush Hour“, it’s safe to say we all can’t wait to see and enjoy the finished product for ourselves.

Directed by David Leitch, the Deadpool sequel stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapcic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al,  and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Julian Dennison, Jack Kesy and Shioli Kutsuna join the cast in undisclosed roles.

Deadpool 2 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on June 1, 2018. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for even more updates.
