Rita Ora Joins Ryan Reynolds In The Cast Of ‘Detective Pikachu’

The live-action Pokémon film Detective Pikachu continues to fill out its cast, as The Hollywood Reporter confirms that actress/singer Rita Ora has joined the project. Ora joins a cast that already includes the likes of Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu, Ken Watanabe and Bill Nighy, to name a few.

Ora’s previous acting credits include appearances in films such as Fast & Furious 6 and Southpaw, as well as playing Mia Grey in the Fifty Shades trilogy.

Detective Pikachu will be directed by Rob Letterman (Goosebumps, Monsters vs. Aliens).  The film will also star Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Chris Geere and Suki Waterhouse.

Since the game’s launch, numerous characters have been added to the game. Red Hood, Starfire, Hellboy, Enchantress, Atom, Black Manta, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just to name a few.
