‘Riverdale’ Show-Runner Reveals Episode Title For 2.02: Trouble For Kevin Keller?

RiverdaleIn the recent TV season, Archie Comics decided to throw their hat into the pool by bringing Riverdale to The CW. The show has been renewed for a second season and will be joining The CW’s big line-up of DC TV shows that are also returning.

Production on Season 2 is set to begin sometime this month in Vancouver, Canada. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, show-runner and executive producer of Riverdale, revealed the title for the season premiere which will be called “A Kiss Before Dying”. It remains to be seen whether that is a good or bad sign for Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) whose fate is currently up in the air after the cliffhanger in the season 1 finale.

Aguirre-Sacasa recently released the title for the second episode of Season 2 while also hinting that it might be a dangerous one for Kevin Keller (Casey Cott), with the hashtag #PreyForKevin. Episode 2 is called “The Watcher In The Woods” and will air on on Wednesday, October 18.

Not a lot of details have been shared about Season 2 so far, other than a few updates for certain cast members. Charles Melton will be replacing Ross Butler as Reggie, while Cott’s Kevin and Skeet Ulrich’s FP Jones have been promoted to series regulars. Mark Consuelos (Pitch) will be entering Riverdale in Season 2 as he has been cast as Hiram Lodge, husband of Hermione (Marisol Nichols) and father of Veronica (Camila Mendes).

Riverdale Season 2 will begin on Wednesday, October 11 at 8/7c on The CW.
