riverdale-jughead.jpgDuring this year’s San Diego Comic Con it was confirmed that the mother and sister of Riverdale character Jughead Jones, (Cole Sprouse), would be making an appearance in the show’s third season.

Throughout the show’s run, Jughead’s family has been something of a mystery. While they are occasionally alluded to and referenced they never seem to make an appearance. During the show’s panel it was confirmed that Jughead’s mother, Gladys, and sister, Jellybean Jones, would be making an appearance in the show’s third season. The two enigmatic characters are expected to appear midway through he season around it’s 8th or 9th episode. Details on who would be playing the two have not been released.
