Robert Pattinson Wears Rebirth Inspired Batman Suit In Incredible Image

The Batman star Robert Pattinson dons a Rebirth-inspired Batsuit to replace Ben Affleck in a new piece of fan art for the upcoming DC Comics movie.

In this fan art from digital artist Dalton Barrett, Robert Pattinson can be seen with a live-action take on the Batman: Rebirth suit. One of the elements that sets the Batman: Rebirth costume apart from other interpretations is the fact that the iconic Bat emblem’s glowing yellow border is more understated compared to the traditional counterparts seen in previous comic book interpretations.

Here’s what Robert Pattinson could look like with the Batman: Rebirth suit to replace Ben Affleck.

Earlier this year, it was announced that The Batman would center on a younger Bruce Wayne, with former Bruce Wayne Ben Affleck officially retiring from the role. Ben Affleck was originally set to write, direct and star in The Batman for the DC Extended Universe but ultimately stepped down from his duties. Matt Reeves then took over the project. However, Reeves opted to do a complete rewrite of the script with his own original story and since then, Ben Affleck has left the DCEU.

Robert Pattinson was cast as the new Bruce Wayne earlier this year. Along with him as the new Dark Knight, Jeffrey Wright is reportedly in negotiations to play Commissioner Gordon while Jonah Hill is in talks for a villainous role.

Do you hope to see Robert Pattinson don the Batman: Rebirth suit in the new movie? How would you compare the Rebirth Batsuit to other versions? Let us know in the comments section!

While details are slim, Matt Reeves has confirmed that his movie is not based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will emphasize the hero as the world’s greatest detective more than previous films have in the past. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new movie trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

The Batman arrives in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Ben Affleck, Robert Pattinson and the future of the DC Extended Universe.
