Robert Pattinson’s Batman Dons DC Rebirth Suit To Replace Ben Affleck In Incredible Image

Robert Pattinson suits up as Batman to replace Ben Affleck in a cool piece of fan art that sees the Twilight alum ready for action as the DC Extended Universe’s new Caped Crusader.

A talented artist known as Barrett Digital has created a piece that shows what Robert Pattinson could look like replacing Ben Affleck as Batman. Robert Pattinson’s outfit here clearly takes inspiration from the Rebirth incarnation of the Dark Knight, with the actor standing on a Gotham City rooftop with bats flying around in the background.

You can see Robert Pattinson with the Batman Rebirth suit below.

From the look of things, someone is really eager to see Robert Pattinson in the role! What do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing Robert Pattinson replace Ben Affleck as Batman? Let us know in the comments!

Plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps. Previous rumors once pointed to an earlier version of the script featuring Ben Affleck bookending the film as his current Batman while the film introduced a younger version of the iconic DC Comics hero, played by Robert Pattinson. But with Ben Affleck retired from the role, Pattinson has officially replaced the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League star as the DC Extended Universe’s Bruce Wayne.

While details are slim, The Batman helmer Matt Reeves has confirmed that his project is not based on Frank Miller’s acclaimed Year One comic and will emphasize the hero as the world’s greatest detective more than previous films have in the past. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new movie trilogy with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

The DC Extended Universe continues with Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, followed by Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020. A standalone Joker film set outside of the DC Films universe starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime is also slated to hit theaters October 4, 2019.

The Batman arrives in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Ben Affleck, Robert Pattinson and the future of the DC Extended Universe.
