The aftermath of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War leaves much of our beloved heroes such as Rocket (Bradley Cooper) in the most drastic state of their mere existence.
SPOILERS for Avengers: Infinity War down below!
Despite their best efforts, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy could not stop Thanos (Josh Brolin) from retrieving all six Infinity Stones and erasing half of all the universe’s existence. With this, roughly half of all of the Avengers and other heroic allies turn into dust in the wind – one of them being Rocket’s wooden companion Groot (Vin Diesel).
As he notices that Groot begins to disappear, Rocket is in shock and tries to deny that he is losing his best friend once again. Unfortunately for Rocket, not only does he lose Groot, but he is unaware that fellow Guardians Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Drax (Dave Bautista) and Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) are gone.
In some new artwork from BossLogic, we see Rocket inside the Milano all to himself as he copes with the fallout of Avengers: Infinity War. Here, he sits as he attempts to regrow Groot. Perhaps he is also searching for Nebula (Karen Gillan), who is the other remaining Guardian:
The most tragic part about Rocket in Avengers: Infinity War is that during his adventure with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), he admits that if Thanos’ plan prevails, he could lose a lot. Now with almost all of his fellow Guardians gone, the poor space trash panda must join with the Avengers to fix this mess.

10 Marvel Characters Who Can Replace Iron Man After ‘Avengers 4’
He may not be the most powerful hero, but Iron Man is clearly the heart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His first solo film in 2007 kick-started the shared universe and directly led to the Avengers joining forces on the big screen. After starring in three solo movies and playing prominent roles in three other Marvel films, now seems like an appropriate time for Iron Man, or at least for Tony Stark, to slowly bow out of the spotlight.
Ever since The Avengers, Stark has been obsessed with the bigger threat out in the Universe. Well, Thanos finally launched his primary attack in Avengers: Infinity War and Iron Man is going to have to think creatively to save the universe. Rumors have been pointing for years that Robert Downey Jr. is ready to say goodbye to the Marvel Universe, but if that happens, Marvel will have to send Iron Man out in style. Whether he sacrifices himself to resurrect the universe or just stalls Thanos long enough for Doctor Strange to save the day, the potential loss of Tony Stark will leave a giant, Iron Man-sized hole in the MCU that will desperately need filling.
