Rogue One

We’re now less than a month away from the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, so the marketing campaign for the Gareth Edwards-directed movie is in full force. Last week saw the release of an awesome international trailer for the movie, but we now have two more Japanese TV spots along with six new characters posters.

The character posters (which you can check out in the gallery along with a high-res version of a previously released poster) give us a brand new look at Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso and the rest of the Rebels tasked with stealing the plans for the Death Star. Jyn also gets the spotlight in one of the two new TV spots while the other one centers on Diego Luna’s Captain Cassian Andor.

You can watch the TV spots below.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Diego Luna as Captain Cassian Andor, Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso, Alan Tudyk as K-2SO, Jiang Wen as Baze Malbus, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on December 16th.
