‘Rogue One’ Trailer Rumored To Be Attached To ‘Captain America: Civil War’!

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens continuing it’s box office dominance, it’s natural for people to start to turn their attention toward the next offering within the Star Wars franchise.  With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hitting theaters this December, we are bound to start learning, and seeing, more.

Interestingly, we don’t know much about Rogue One, except the inspiration for the film, and that it tops Fandango’s list for most anticipated film of 2016.

However, today we have a rumor that we could know more when Captain America: Civil War releases.  According to MakingStarWars.net (via Comic Book)Rogue One‘s first trailer could be attached to Civil War.  This wouldn’t be a total surprise as both Marvel and Lucasfilm are owned by Disney.  If recent history is any indication, we are likely to see the Rogue One trailer released online a few weeks prior to the May 6th, 2016 release of Civil War, as they released that trailer a few weeks prior to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

My guess is that Disney will continue to cross-promote in house (or in the Mouse House) by releasing the trailer on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as they did with Civil War.

What do you think?  Coming off the overwhelming success of The Force Awakens, are you ready for another Star Wars story?

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, directed by Gareth Edwards, and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Johanthan Aris, and Peter Cushing is scheduled for December 16th, 2016.
