The 2016 election was unlike anything in political history in the United States and while President Elect Donald Trump will take office for the next four years, many are already looking ahead to the next election. Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy) took to Facebook to announce his interest in the next race.
Perlman even announced his future campaign slogan. “My slogan will be, “Make America Great Again, Again” so…hold onto your hats!”
Within the comment section of the post, fans pointed out that Perlman did have some Presidental experience, he played Clay Morrow, the president of the SAMCRO motorcycle club in FX’s Sons of Anarchy. Perlman will have some free time on his hands, as it was recently announced that Hellboy 3 currently has no plans to move forward.
When asked how much closer he and del Toro were to making Hellboy 3 a reality, he answered simply:
We don’t talk about that anymore.
Digging for further info, he was pressed for why, to which he responded:
Because he’s busy, and I’m busy. Maybe one day he’s going to call and say, ‘Hey, let’s do it.’ But for right now? We’re happy discovering new worlds to conquer.
Many celebrities have been taking to social media to express their thoughts following the historical election, including Captain America, Chris Evans.
No more fear. Only hopeful optimism. I gonna let love be my guide. All my energy will now go towards protecting the rights of ALL Americans
