Ryan Reynolds Reveals ‘Deadpool 2’ Easter Egg In Instagram Post

Deadpool 2 StuntwomanDeadpool 2 has officially wrapped production, and star Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

In his post, the Merc With A Mouth thanked all involved with the film, in particular, the “set decorators and prop department, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene…” As a matter of fact, Reynolds’ post has a look at the first easter egg in the film we’ve seen so far.

Check out the post below and see for yourself:

In case you missed it, the engraved names on Deadpool’s katanas spell out “Bea” and “Arthur.” Fans of the character will remember that Deadpool has a slight obsession with the television show The Golden Girls, of which Bea Arthur was a star of. Little details like this enhance the movie experience for longtime diehard fans, and if this is any indication this detail is one of many we can look forward to when the sequel hits screens next year.

Directed by David Leitch, the Deadpool sequel stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapicic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al,  and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Julian Dennison, Jack Kesy and Shioli Kutsuna join the cast in undisclosed roles.

Deadpool 2 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on June 1, 2018. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for more updates.
