Ryan Reynolds Isn’t Interested In Any Other Superhero Roles; Wants To Play Deadpool For ‘The Rest Of His Life’

Ryan Reynolds is definitely no newcomer when it comes to comic book films. He’s actually got quite a few under his belt including RIPD, Blade: Trinity, Green Lantern and his first crack at Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. However, tnow that he’s finally been able to bring the Merc With The Mouth to life accurately, Reynolds isn’t interested in any other superhero roles. While speaking with IGN, Reynolds told the site the following regarding the subject.

I never want to play another comic book character again; Deadpool, I would like to play for the rest of my life – that’d be fun.

When the site asked him if he’d be interested in playing Hal Jordan again, he shot that one down as he has “done a number of them, and I think it’s time for other people to do them now. You’ve got to share the wealth on that one.” Being that Deadpool is the character that Reynolds was born to play, I think we’d all be fine with him sticking around in this role for awhile. Let us know what you think about it in the comments section below.
