A rumor from veteran entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider reveals that the actress will be playing none other than Gilda Gold. Or, as most people may know her: Gilda Dent, the wife of Harvey Dent.

And, given it is eventually revealed that Gilda Gold is the Holiday Killer, it would make sense that Matt Reeves would want to cast an actress with the pedigree of Scarlett Johansson.
The rumor also states that Matt Reeves is looking for two other actors to join Scarlett Johansson in The Batman sequel: a man in his 40s to play Harvey Dent, and a man in his 60s to play Harvey Dent’s father. While Brad Pitt was reportedly considered for the role of Dent’s dad, scheduling issues suggest he won’t be able to take on the part.
