San Diego Comic Con 2016 featured major panels from Marvel Studios, Warner Bros and HBO. According to ListenFirstMedia, an Internet Score aggregator that measures organically generated activity by fans of movies and television, Suicide Squad and HBO’s Game of Thrones created the biggest buzz during the con this year.

Coming in second place for the category of film buzz was Star Trek Beyond, closely followed by Wonder Woman and Justice League. Rounding out the top five included the newly released horror flix, Lights Out.

Star Trek Beyond kicked off SDCC with an IMAX premiere of the film which took place outside and featured a grand firework display. Warner Bros impressed in Hall H by premiering the trailers for Wonder Woman and Justice League, they also immediately released the trailers on YouTube for fans to watch all across the world.

While Game of Thrones dominated TV, also creating a buzz was USA’s Mr. Robot, American Gods (Starz) and Marvel’s Luke Cage (Netflix).

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Karen Fukuhara, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne, Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
