Sean Teale Joins Cast Of FOX’s Untitled ‘X-Men’ Drama

sean teale X-Men FOXIncorporated’s Sean Teale has joined the cast of the upcoming X-Men series on FOX, as the original character Marcos Diaz/Eclipse, another mutant of the show.

“Marcos Diaz/Eclipse. A natural rebel compelled by circumstances to cooperate with others, Marcos is a passionate and strong-willed fighter who sometimes lets his emotions overrule reason. His alter ego, Eclipse, who possesses the ability to absorb and manipulate photons, is a newly created mutant for this expanded X-Men universe.”

Teale joins co-stars Stephen Moyer as Reed, Jamie Chung as Blink and Blair Redford as Sam. The pilot will be directed by X-Men’s Bryan Singer who works as an executive producer on the show that recently got a pilot order.

“The Untitled Fox Marvel Project will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The series will be produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television, with 20th Century Fox handling physical production.”

Nix’s creative team consists of X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner, director Bryan Singer, X-Men screenwriter, Simon Kinberg, Jim Chory and Marvel TV President Jeph Loeb that will all be serving as Executive Producers on the project. These people are also involved with the FX series, Legion.
