A Second Comedy Series From Marvel Studios In Development At ABC; ‘Damage Control’ Coming This Season

In addition to Damage Control, ABC is currently in development on a second comedy series from Marvel Studios. While speaking with IGN at ABC’s 2016 winter Television Critics Association press tour party, ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee revealed that they currently have two comedies in development from the studio and confirmed that we will see Damage Control this season.

Lee had the following to say about Damage Control,  a half-hour single-camera sitcom about the crew that cleans up the messes left by superheroes during their battles.

That’s the one that’s going to be coming out this season. I haven’t read it yet. I can’t wait to see it. We hope it’s going to be great.

Lee wouldn’t reveal what the second series will focus on but did state that “in the long term, we’d love it to be on ABC” and that they “definitely want to do Marvel comedies as well as dramas” on the network. So, it looks like we will have a full plate of Marvel programming over at ABC with this series likely joining Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Most Wanted, Damage Control and the mystery John Ridley project. What do you think it could be? What would you like it to be? Less us know in the comments section below.
