Seth Grahame-Smith To Write & Direct ‘The Flash’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, author and screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith is in negotiations to write and make his feature directorial debut with The Flash for Warner Bros., starring Ezra Miller as the titular superhero.

The movie already has a story treatment by The Lego Movie-helmers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, but the duo had to pass on directing the blockbuster in order to work on the Han Solo Anthology film for Disney and Lucasfilm

Grahame-Smith is known for his work on novels Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The former received a film adaptation back in 2012, but it was received with lukewarm reviews. He is currently writing the Lego Batman movie, which is being directed by Chris McKay for a 2017 release.

Miller is rumored to have a cameo in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, before he returns as the Scarlet Speedster in Jutice League: Part 1 on November 16, 2017.

The Flash standalone movie hits theaters on March 3, 2018.
