Shameik Moore To Voice Miles Morales In Animated Spider-Man Movie

Shameik Moore Miles Morales Spider-ManThe Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Dope and The Get Down star Shameik Moore has signed on to voice Miles Morales in Sony’s animated Spider-Man movie, with X-Men Origins: Wolverine‘s Liev Schrieber also joining the project as the villain.

The Little Prince‘s Bob Persichetti is at the helm alongside Peter Ramsey from a script by The LEGO Movie director Phil Lord, who’s also serving as an executive producer on the project with Chris Miller.

Plot details are being kept under lock and key, but the project is said to focus on Miles’ struggle between being Spider-Man and balancing his life at school at the same time.

Cartoons can be turned into animated movies, just look at the success of the Spongebob Squarepants movies, but they can also make successful live-action adaptations. Well, with Power Rangers coming out soon, an idea so silly it might as well have been a Saturday morning cartoon it’s time for studio execs to take a look at some of these hidden classics. There’s clearly a lot of money to be made adapting beloved children franchises.

I want to point out a key word to all of you guys in case you get mad at my list.
