Is This Skrillex & Rick Ross Collab The Theme Song For ‘Suicide Squad’?

Suicide Squad

While performing at Atlantic City’s new WAV nightclub over the weekend, Skrillex dropped an unreleased collaboration with Rick Ross. Fanboys are speculating that the unidentified track could be featured in the upcoming Suicide Squad. Some of Ross’ verses reference Suicide Squad by name, plus the rapper also mentions the purple Lamborghini that the Joker drives in the film (“got that purple Lamborghini lurkin’”).

I think the track is LIT if it is indeed the theme song for Suicide Squad. What do you guys think of the EDM track? Chime in the comments below.

  • Caped Baldy

Loved “100 back coffins”.This sounds dope as well

    • SAMURAI36

Wasn’t that the song for the Django movie? If so, that was indeed a banging song.

      • Caped Baldy

        yeah it was.

  • John Farms

I’d bet money this has nothing to do with the Suicide Squad movie.

    • SAMURAI36

      Why?

I’ve been saying that it’d be cool if we got some Hip-Hop music in some of these films. This would be a great place to start.

      • Marquis de Sade

Yes, when all else fails, cross-pollinate your fledgling marketing strategy with hip hop. Ooooh, edgy. LOL!

        • SAMURAI36

So you hate DC and Hip-Hop, is that it?

          • Marquis de Sade

I don’t hate DC. I just want them to step their game up, by stop reacting to Marvel and move at their own pace. Everything they’re doing reeks of desperation to match something they haven’t earned.

          • SAMURAI36

Right, because using a Hip-Hop soundtrack is reacting to Marvel.

            Stop using Meth.

          • Marquis de Sade

LOL! Stop bein’ obtuse! This ain’t about hip hop, it’s about them rushing to build their DCEU at the risk of ignoring all the mythology that the DCEU is suppose to be based on.

          • SAMURAI36

Riiiiight. They were rushing, even though it took 3 years to make their second movie.

And they totally ignored mythology, which is why BVS is based on 2 of the most best selling comic book stories of all time.

You put that meth down yet?

          • Marquis de Sade

That’s right, they had 3 years to put together a coherent script, but cobbled together two iconic story arcs, and in doing so, they reduced TDKR and THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN into a cliff note afterthought…Don’t pretend this doesn’t reek of desperation…Who kills an iconic character and then tries to pass it off as gravitas, even though it’s common knowledge that he will return in JLA? – Storytelling 101 dictates that if you kill off a major character, that death should have resonance, and most importantly, it should be earned. This movie was clumsily written by someone who has little respect for the genre.

          • SAMURAI36

So wait, I thought they were copying Marvel? Or wait, I thought they were ignoring their mythology? Or wait, I thought it was about Hip-Hop? Now it’s about the script that you’re complaining about?

It’s hard me for to keep up, with all the goal posts you keep moving.

Speaking of DOS, you do realize that Superman came back to life in less than a year in the comics, right? Nah, of course you don’t. Cuz you don’t hate DC, you just want them to step up. With stories that you don’t even have a clue about, one way or another.

But I’ll let you keep telling it (actually, no I won’t. I’ll keep roasting you for saying dumb stuff every time you post).

          • Marquis de Sade

Look, I get it. You’re a DC sycophant who was so starved for any product that you’re willing to accept anything that has a DC logo, and actual quality be damned, huh? – Lets totally ignore the fact when Supes gets within close proximity of kryptonite, it renders him useless and weak as a 3 day old kitten…and yet he was able to lift it, fly and stab Doomsday…But hey, I get it, you was hungry for something that was akin to a stale balogna sandwich. You wuz yearnin’ for the iconic DOS to be crammed into the last 20 minutes of a 2 1/2 hour crapfest that never should’ve been made by that current regime.

          • xxjinzaxx

Sycophant? That’s your comeback because he calls you out at every step?

            What a hilarious chump.

          • SAMURAI36

Yeah, what a sucks. But that’s okay, I’ll keep roasting him every time he responds. People should really learn to realize when they are hopelessly outclassed.

          • SAMURAI36

Oh, so wait…. now it’s about me? I thought it was about the script?
See, this is the problem with the Marvel Zombies… Besides the fact that you can’t even keep up with, let alone create a cohesive argument, you also lack the ability to see how your own hypocritical admonitions apply to yourself…. Oh, unless you think your precious Marvel is oh-so-perfect, & never makes any mistakes?

Please tell me that’s what you think, so that I can bubble up your snot-box with a dozen different examples right off the top of my head.

In the meantime, I’ll play your little game…

If you actually WATCHED the movie (rather than read the synopses of it on Reddit somewhere), you’d know that it was a huge struggle for Superman to fly with the K-Staff. He was pushing thru the pain… You know, like he’s done NUMEROUS times before in the comics? He was basically limping in the air. This was AFTER the total recharge he got from the sun.

Plus, the K only rendered him helpless/powerless when he inhaled/ingested it. Being in proximity renders him weak, but totally powerless.

Also, you keep talking about DOS, but I don’t believe for a single second that you’ve actually read that story. For one thing, the fight & death took place over the course of exactly ONE ISSUE.

You act as if it’s supposed to take place over several movies. He was also dead & back to life in that one animated movie as well. Also, in the comics, he was only dead for what amounted to a few weeks in the story (even though it was written over several issues).
But somehow, in your ignorant mind, they dishonored the mythology, right?

So what else you got?? Keep it coming, so I can keep spanking those butt-cheeks, after every little bit of nonsense you say.

          • Marquis de Sade

“If you actually WATCHED the movie (rather than read the synopses of it on Reddit somewhere), you’d know that it was a huge struggle for Superman to fly with the K-Staff. He was pushing thru the pain”

Gee, you make him sound like THE LIL’ ENGINE WHO COULD. Being that close to kryptonite would render Supes useless and powerless…PERIOD!

“Also, you keep talking about DOS, but I don’t believe for a single second that you’ve actually read that story. For one thing, the fight & death took place over the course of exactly ONE ISSUE.”

Actually, it took place over several issues.

Yes, within the context of that “ICONIC” storyline, it should’ve taken place over a two movie arc, as oppose to reducing it to a tacked on 15 to 20 minute plot trope…But hey, as I intimated earlier, you wuz starved after enduring 3 years of MOS leftover rations. I’ll just chalk it up to low blood sugar. LOL!

          • SAMURAI36

Gee, you make him sound like THE LIL’ ENGINE WHO COULD. Being that close to kryptonite would render Supes useless and powerless…PERIOD!

Gee, you make yourself sound like THE LIL’ IDIOT THAT CAN’T (read). Perhaps you need to actually read a DC comic, or check out a DC animation for once, instead of bashing DC all the time. I can list countless examples where he pushed thru K-exposure.

Actually, it took place over several issues.

No it did not. The Superman vs DD fight took place in one issue, which is Superman #75. The build-up to the fight took place in only ONE ISSUE before that, which is #74.

You’re making yourself look & sound like an ignorant fool, every time you respond.

OMG, how incredibly stupid you sound. So, apparently a 1-2 issue story, needs to take place over 2 movies. Never mind the fact that that they cover short comic stories all the time, on DCTV shows like Supergirl.
But hey, feel free to keep trying. Maybe one day you’ll actually come up with a valid point on here.

          • Marquis de Sade

Dude, I have the trade paper back compilation, which comprises all the issues. It’s way more than two.

Superman: The Man of Steel #18-19, Justice League America #69, Superman #74-75, Adventures of Superman #497, and Action Comics #684 — written by Dan Jurgens, Jerry Ordway, Louise Simonson, and Roger Stern; illustrated by Jon Bogdanove, Tom Grummett, Jackson Guice, and Dan Jurgens.

          • SAMURAI36

None of that stuff is the actual fight. Just extraneous story that they used to stretch the story. It’s called “crossover tie-ins”.

          • Marquis de Sade

Dude, with the exception of MOS #18, all the subsequent issues have Supes and Doomsday goin’ at it. Are you sure you ain’t still sufferin’ from low blood sugar? – You need to have a Snickers.

          • SAMURAI36

Oh, & you better hope to God, that they don’t kill Cap in Avengers 2.5–I mean, CW. And if they do, they d&mn sure better not bring him back to life in IW, or I’m gonna be all over that &$$ (pause) for your hypocrisy.

          • SAMURAI36

Oh & LMAO at “death having resonance”…. Because Quicksilver’s death had soooo much meaning, right? Oh wait, what about Agent Coulson’s “death”? That brought all sorts of (crocodile) tears to… Somebody’s eyes. Just not mine.
See, I told you that ya’ll Marvel Zombies need to be careful of the nonsense you say.

          • Marquis de Sade

Quicksilver and Coulson’s deaths are false equivalencies. Superman Is one of the star characters that the DCEU is building the franchise as its foundation…and I never implied that Marvel is perfect, but in comparison to the bumbling mess that is DCEU, it might as well be perfect. Twould appear you’re sufferin’ from Stockholm Syndrome, Son. LOL!

          • SAMURAI36

Oh, so now Coulson & QS are bad examples. I can’t keep up with how many goal posts you’ve moved.
And you love to point fingers at DC & their fans, but have yet to do the same at your precious Marvel & their cult that you belong to. I’m all for cheering for your team, but don’t pretend that your team is without flaws, while pointing out the flaws in the other team.

          • xxjinzaxx

            Quit while you’re behind, man.

Actually, keep going. You’re getting killed. I love it!

          • JMMagwood

            LOL As if he could!

      • John Farms

If this was the theme song, do you think Warner Bros. would have allowed Skrillex to play it live or leak it? Also don’t you think that if they got Skrillex and Rick Ross for the soundtrack that they would have announced it sooner and in a more professional way? For all we know Rick Ross saw the trailer and wrote some bars cause he thought it sounded cool. If you want to bring hip-hop into your soundtrack you don’t get skrillex and Rick Ross, you get Eminem and Dr. Dre.

        • SAMURAI36

Eminem, WTF? Are you really serious? Dre hasn’t been popular for years now, & nobody within Hip-Hop is talking about Em anymore either. They’d have a better time bringing in Drake than Dre.
But you CLEARLY don’t know Hip-Hop, if you’re comparing those 2 to Ross. And Skrillex has on lock.

          • John Farms

            CLEARLY you forgot about Dre.

          • SAMURAI36

You’re only as good as your last effort. What’s the last great song you feel like Dre has done?

  • John O’Rourke

He mentions Killer Croc inside the first 13 seconds

    • Jewie

      Also Gotham City.

  • Vegas82

It could just be him vibin on what DC is layin down with their trailers and what not… Or it could be the hottest track from a movie this year.
