Social Media Reaction To ‘Batman v Superman’ Very Positive

Despite critic reviews and a a 29% “Rotten” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, fans are taking to social media to express their thoughts about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the result is overwhelmingly positive.

Fizziology, a social media tracking service has broken down the reaction to the DC film. 57% has been positive, 33% neutral and only 10% negative. Batman and Wonder Woman were the two most buzzed about characters from the film online.

This type of reaction is in line with movies like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Furious 7.

Fizziology founder Ben Carlson, spoke about having such a large disconnect between fan and critic reaction.

“I’ve never seen this kind of disconnect between critical reaction and fan reaction. A lot of the conversation was about how the reviews were wrong.”

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
