‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Home Media Release Date Revealed In New Trailer

Star Wars Solo Ron HowardStar Wars fans should mark their calendars because it has officially been announced when Solo: A Star Wars Story will be available to purchase on digital formats and Blu-ray.

The Ron Howard-directed origin story about the galaxy’s favorite smuggler looks to bounce back from its less than stellar box office run when it makes its availability to be streamed on all devices. The film that stars Alden Ehrenreich as the titular character did not meet the standards expected of a film that entails a story from a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Other films in the franchise like The Force Awakens still stand in the top echelon of box office revenue and its predecessor The Last Jedi also performed very close to that, setting a very high standard for films with Star Wars in their title. Disney will look to recoup some of its losses when the Star Wars spin-off film becomes available to purchase and to announce the dates they have released a brand new trailer. Check it out below.

One of the main issues that many believe is the reason for the poor box office performance was the marketing for the film. This new trailer seems to attempt to rectify those mistakes as it takes a whole new approach to introduce this movie and it is much better than any previous promotional material made for it. Instead of a dark mysterious vibe, the Solo film gets a much more fun, adventurous feel in this trailer and that will definitely help fans on the fence about seeing the film that showcases the iconic Kessel Run. Solo: A Star Wars Story will release on September 14th on 4KUHD and will be available on Blu-ray on Septemeber 25th.

Here is the synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story:
