Sony’s ‘Harbinger’ Movie Gets Two New Writers

HarbingerSony’s Harbinger movie has found a pair of new writers.

Deadline has revealed that Kicks scribes Justin Tipping and Joshua Beirne-Golden have been tapped to do a rewrite of the superhero film, which is being produced by Neal Moritz, the man behind the Fast and the Furious franchise.

The project follows a group of teenagers with special powers who are on the run from the Harbinger Foundation, a mysterious organization led by the villainous Toyo Harada.

Harbinger is expected be the first of five films from a deal between the studio and Valiant Entertainment, followed by a Bloodshot project from director Dave Wilson. The plan is for each movie to get a sequel before the characters cross over in Harbinger Wars.
