Sony is making some schedule changes for at least three of their big releases. The Exhibitor Relations twitter account is reporting that the studio has pushed back the release dates for Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the Jumanji reboot and the sequel to The Equalizer.

The big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower has been pushed back five months to July 28, 2017, now making it one of Sony’s big summer releases.

As reported earlier, marketing changes and additional time for post-production work are contributing factors to the film being pushed back.

Sony’s reboot of Jumanji has been pushed back five months for a December, 22, 2017 release date. Originally slated to hit theaters in the summer of 2017, the successor to the 1995 film starring Robin Williams will now be a Christmas release.

The sequel to The Equalizer, which stars Denzel Washington, has been pushed back nearly a full year from September 29, 207 to September 14, 2018.

Directed by Nikolaj Arcel, The Dark Tower stars Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Taylor, Katheryn Winnick, Jackie Earle Haley, Fran Kranz, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Michael Barbieri and Claudia Kim.

Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas and Jack Black.
