In the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, director Bryan Singer will re-introduce us to some younger versions of the original X-Men, which includes Jean Grey and Scott Summers. While we know that these two will eventually become an item, according to Sophie Turner, things don’t exactly go too smoothly between the characters in the film.
However, Tye Sheridan went on to defend his character, stating that he’s this way “because a lot happened in his past, and he’s damaged, and in this movie you kind of see why.” Well, that’s actually pretty accurate to the source material. Let’s be real here, Scott Summers has always been kind of a dick. Here’s hoping that this movie will have the character develop into the leader of the team that we know from the comics. Let us know what you think about Turner & Sheridan’s comments in the section below.
