‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Blu-Ray Release Date & Cover Art Revealed

Spider-Man Homecoming The VultureMarvel has revealed Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to arrive on Digital HD September 26, followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and DVD release on October 17.

Spider-Man: Homecoming tells the story of what Peter Parker does after fighting alongside – and against – the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, utilizing a brand-new suit to fight crime on a local level. While Peter is able to effectively fight crime on his own and balance a regular life in high school, he hopes one day of becoming an official member of the team. When Peter discovers a secret gang of thieves utilizing high-tech weapons, he sees an opportunity to prove himself to Iron Man and become a full-time Avenger.

MTV has exclusively revealed a look at one of the extras on the home release which includes deleted scenes, a gag reel, a pop-up factoid track, and seven behind-the-scenes featurettes such as the one below which features producer Jeremy Latcham recalling how stunt coordinator George Cottle designed the Washington Monument sequence from the film.

Spider-Man Homecoming Great Moments Boat
Spider-Man: Homecoming was released this past weekend to great box office numbers and glowing critical reviews. It’s a film that showcases Peter Parker in a young and ambitious role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s an endearing character and the film was able to display this quality to great effect. It certainly aims to have a lot of fun with the character, which it does succeed at but there’s more than just that.

There are a lot of scenes and moments within the film that stand out as great whether they are comedic, action-oriented or dramatic. The film balances these elements really well.
