The image of Spider-Man climbing up the side of a building is as iconic as him hurling his web at this point and in Japan, the Spider-Man: Homecoming marketing team has decided to make one of those things come true.
No, they haven’t invented web shooters, but they did manage to create a version of the wall-crawler’s movie poster that could be affixed to the outside of Tokyo’s Mori Tower to create the illusion that Spidey is just outside and ready to jump into action
A Redditor discovered the poster, which you can check out below:
A young Peter Parker (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Directed by Jon Watts, the film stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Michael Chernus, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Angourie Rice, Abraham Attah, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is now playing in theaters. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will next be seen in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War, which will hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
