Spider-Man has officially joined the Avengers in Infinity War and Iron Man is the one to swear him in.

In a new TV spot Tony tells Spider-Man that’s he’s officially an Avenger and it’s reminiscent of the scene in Age of Ultron when Scarlet Witch becomes an Avenger. You can watch the TV spot below.

Spider-Man was supposed to join the Avengers in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, but Peter turned down the offer so that he could stay a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The change of heart must mean that Peter and Tony realize that Thanos is the real deal and a serious threat to humanity. Spider-Man and Iron Man probably want to stick together on this one.

Here’s the official synopsis for Infinity War:

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released in theaters on April 27, 2018.
