Collectors and Doctor Strange lovers alike rejoice! Square Enix has revealed a new Play Arts Kai Variant collectible figure of the Sorcerer Supreme himself.
Redesigned by Hitoshi Kondo, the figure’s goal was to put some style into the Doctor’s wardrobe. Featuring a layered design with a gun metal gray offsetting the darker blues of the suit and boots and yellow hues of the sash and gauntlets, the colors are contrasted against the vibrant red of the cape, which can be switched around for a number of poses. In addition, the figure comes with numerous magical effect attachments, like force blasts, attachable armor, and spell effects. All of these are made out of a translucent material to give them an ethereal glow. The figure, standing 10 inches tall, also comes with swappable hands.
The Variant collectible figure is scheduled to release in Japan in September. You can see photos of the figure and its different poses and attachments by clicking the “next” button.
